This is the Buddhanara Temple and Buddha's Disciples Zen Meeting news.

May 30, Saturday, 10:00am - 12:00pm - Saturday practice with sitting and walking meditation and tea.

June 6, Saturday, 1:00pm - 3:00 - Change Your Mind Day 2009, St Louis Gateway Arch. Sponsored by the Buddhist Council of St Louis. Please come and join us for a day of public practice and talks and help to strengthen Buddhist practice in St Louis. No fee. There will also be no regular Saturday practice this day at Buddhanara Temple.

Special Update

Starting Tuesday June 2 Buddhanara Temple will be offering an evening practice time for all those who are interested in coming to practice but can't make it on Saturday. Practice will begin at 7:00pm and end at 8:30, although folks who wish to come earlier are welcome to do so but please call ahead.

Saturday practice will also be changing begining in June. The schedule will be from 9:00am to 11:00am with sitting and walking meditation offered everyweek, with the tea ceremony only being done once a month. It is our hope that the earlier start time will make it easier for folks to come out on their weekend to do practice and still be home in time for lunch! This will take effect on June 13 since there is no practice on the 6 due to Change Your Mind Day (see above).
